One of the things I have most enjoyed over the last few years of designing wedding stationery for my clients is drawing and hand painting  a venue map for their invitations.

It’s a great idea to include a little map in with your invitation packs. Day guest especially may be coming from further afield. They may not know the area that well and so need some guidance. Or the venue itself is spread over a wide area and a map of the internal areas would be helpful.

I create either simple line drawn maps up to fully bespoke hand painted maps in colour to match in with your invitations, and I’m happy to add this service to any of my standard collections … just drop me an email to info@knotsandkisses.co.uk

This first photo is from a fantastic styled shoot which I hand drew a map for for them to use as part of a wider stationery and styling set up by the super talented fellow stationer Wonderland Invites. This venue map includes small bespoke illustrations of places of interest in and around the local area as well as the venue itself so has lots of detail and is decorated with illustrated olive branches for a slightly Mediterranean feel.
