Its always nice to push the boundaries and exhibit at wedding fairs a little bit outside of your normal area. As a stationer I can obviously post nationally and internationally but its always fantastic to meet customers face to face at a wedding fair as well, and see them get excited about their wedding and their wedding invitations. Last weekend I exhibited at a fantastic two day South West wedding showcase in Somerset at the Royal Bath & West Showground which was organised by the lovely Gemma and Meghan of the Wedding Emporium http://www.the-wedding-emporium.com/.
Despite the very on / off weather and definitely needed thermals on for the set up day on Friday the event was a fantastic success! Right from opening at 10am on both Saturday and Sunday there were couples queuing at the door to pick up their goody bags, grab a glass of champagne at the VIP bar and talk to the over 100 suppliers who were exhibiting.

Mark & Sophie are absolutely lovely, and if you are looking for someone really creative to record your wedding in a unique way then I would thoroughly recommend giving them a call. They also have the cutest packaging for their discs and usb sticks, and kept me and Ant sane during the quieter periods of the weekend by discussing our love of music, festivals and rum!

I definitely had ‘stand envy’ when visiting Daniel’s stand at the south west wedding showcase – with a gorgeous dark wood backdrop his yellow branding really stood out as did the gorgeous photography … and there was also amazing homemade marshmallows and cute little potted cactus as giveaways!

I don’t really need to say anymore do I ??? There were Donuts! And amazing Donuts at that! Me and the other half were so taken by the stand that we are seriously thinking of adding Donuts to our evening catering for our wedding! I also had a serious crush on their bright turquoise Reliant Robin!
