Before I get on to the rustic pastel wedding invitations I want to share with you this week … wow what a mad and exciting couple of weeks its been! Apologies for the lack of blog posts over the last couple of weeks but I’m now very excited to be back blogging again from my brand new studio space at the bottom of our new house in Torquay! Moving the business is always pretty challenging but thanks to my amazing other half we managed to get the basement floor of our new house decorated, clean and ready for Knots & Kisses to move into before we actually moved house. So although the rest of the house is pretty much a building site lol my office was ready to go.
I’m going to be taking some photos of the space later this week so I’ll be sure to ‘show you around’ as as I can!
I’m glad to be back blogging as I can share with you lots of the bespoke stationery I’ve been working on for the last few months.
One of my favourite commissions was from the lovely Stephanie who wanted some really pretty vintage style stationery for her wedding in a selection of pastel colours and wanted to incorporate a really beautiful drawing she’d had done of her and her partner. We decided on a gatefold style to create some rustic pastel wedding invitations, with the beautiful painting as a feature inside and a simple bunting and festoon light exterior tied with string and with a pretty floral tag and kraft envelope.
Matching rsvp and information cards were tied in to the parcel and I finished the look with a pastel floral envelope liner for the brown Kraft envelopes to give it the rustic touch that Stephanie wanted.
I hope you agree that its a cracking start to blogging again from my new base … I loved creating these invitations and can’t wait to work on any matching reception stationery.
