I have to say I’m a bit obsessed with pheasant feathers at the moment! I used a couple at the photo shoot for one of my new luxe ranges last month and now I just can’t get enough of them. I’ve always found though ( for obvious reasons given the game season ) that pheasant feathers are always cropping up in styling images for more autumnal and winter looking weddings when I’ve been browsing pinterest and the internet. You can now buy them nearly all year round from various different online suppliers and I personally think they can look amazing with spring and summer weddings as well …. so I had a bit of a hunt to find some more summery inspiration to share with you!
I love the mixture of pheasant feathers with more summery flowers like peonies and roses – lots of pinks and greens and ruby colours.

Pheasant feathers also make a wonderful addition to place settings …

I love how this bride has collected feathers together to form an alternative bouquet, and I always approve of pheasant feathers as decoration on cakes …

Finally who wouldn’t love to finish off their wedding with a chill out area full of teepees with feathers sticking out the top! Or arrange a few to one side for a little area for children to play in throughout the day. Summers wouldn’t be summer without festivals and a few tents would create a wonderful summer atmosphere!
I really hope that’s given you a few ideas as to how you could incorporate pheasant feathers in to your spring or summer wedding.
