I love it when I meet really inspiring fellow wedding suppliers. This year I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely ladies from Flourish http://www.withaflourish.co.uk/ and exhibited again with them recently at the Abode Wedding Fair in Exeter. I was blown away by their gorgeous floral displays! What made this even more unusual for me was that all of the flowers used were silk and artificial! I have to admit I have never been a fan of fake flowers … but Jayne at Flourish,who are based in Plymouth here in Devon, has completely changed my mind! Their modern silk wedding flowers are so beautifully arranged and so realistic that I was completely won over. There is nothing ‘plastic’ looking about them and what’s great is they have put together a unique hire service so you can decorate your venue with lots of gorgeous looking flowers without blowing your budget which might be the case if you were to use the same quantity of real flowers.
What’s more they not only do beautiful silk flowers but also produce gorgeous brooch bouquets! I was drawn like the proverbial magpie to these gorgeous creations on their stand and they give a really beautiful vintage glamorous look to any wedding.
