SO big week here at Knots & Kisses! Firstly I send out the Save the Date cards last Saturday for our very own wedding! So most of the week I have spent nervously waiting to see if I get any feedback from friends and family. Obviously a reply isn’t needed with a Save the Date card but it was lovely to hear from a few people how much they loved them … I’ll be sharing the design very soon on the blog … can’t wait to share it with you all! As thought there were a few of the ‘older’ guests … and to be honest some of the younger ones! … who didn’t really ‘get them’ but they really reflected us so hey ho!
The other big thing that is happening is that this weekend we are picking up the keys to our new house in Torquay! To say I’m excited is an understatement and we’ll be spending the weekend essentially ‘camping’ at the new house and starting tearing off wallpaper and getting started painting some of the walls ready for our big move in April. Hopefully over the next few weeks and months I’ll be able to share with you some of the renovations we are doing … I can’t wait to tear all the carpets up and get work on the wooden floors!
Back to the world of weddings and I’ve been looking at the big wedding blogs this week to share with you some of the best inspiration out there for your wedding. This week its been all about colourful and vintage weddings with lots of my favourite things … really bright colours and fantastic florals!
I love this colourful ‘witch’ inspired styled shoot on the Way Out Wedding blog … the flowers, the hair and that lace dress are just amazing … especially with the extra touch of the leather jacket! http://www.wayoutwedding.com/2018/01/25/magical-witch-inspired-styled-bridal-shoot/
On the Rock n Roll Bride blog I loved the colour of this groom’s suit and the gorgeous yellow camper! http://www.rocknrollbride.com/2018/01/bohemian-french-wedding-inspired-by-their-childhood/
This vintage barn style wedding just has the most adorable lace details and relaxed fun feel with some pops of colour from some fantastic wildflower feeling bouquets. http://www.wantthatwedding.co.uk/2018/01/25/simple-vintage-barn-wedding-with-wildflowers-and-antique-charm-kelsie-ryan/
If you’re talking colour you can’t really get more colourful than this Mexican inspired wedding on the Bespoke Bride blog this week … love the bunting! http://www.bespoke-bride.com/2018/01/02/heres-a-wedding-inspired-by-the-couples-favourite-holiday-destination/
Hope that gives you some fun and colourful inspiration this weekend and I’ll see you on Monday … hopefully not too covered in paint from decorating!
