I designed my Vintage Cameo range initially for a styled photo shoot which was organised to reflect a ‘My Fair Lady Theme’, the classic pink and black cameo look reflecting the scenes from the day at the races in the film. I loved designing the stationery and decided to adapt it for one of my new collections on my website – adding a personalised monogram for a classic look and producing it in 2 different colour combinations – classic pink & black and also a Wedgwood blue and black colour combination. The pink had always been very popular though as it really does have that very My Fair Lady look and also echoes the classic branding of such firms as Thomas Pink http://pinkunbuttoned.com/
I see the Vintage Cameo range being perfect for anyone getting married in a classic Country House, Classic City Wedding Venue or even a racecourse – carrying on the My Fair Lady theme!
The Cameo frame motif carries on through into place cards, table names and other matching reception stationery and all is complemented with the subtle pale pink striped background.
As always when I design a new range I collate some ideas on Pinterest as to how to style the look for this wedding https://uk.pinterest.com/knotsandkisses/wedding-themes-pale-pink-black-cameo/ and also create a moodboard to match – here I’ve gone with the classic pink and black theme and added anenomes which I think are so beautiful and work really well with this theme.
I also love the idea of a cameo style topper for a very simple wedding cake and bridesmaids in classic Audrey Hepburn style cocktail dresses and little flat black and pink pumps. Also how about creating a signature pink champagne cocktail just for your wedding!
