In November I was lucky enough to meet some fantastic fellow wedding suppliers at a conference in London, one of which was the lovely Kelly from Truly Quirky Wedding Venues http://trulyquirkyweddingvenues.co.uk/ . After returning home I took a look at her site. It was lovely to find a directory like this for couples who are looking for something a little bit different for their wedding venue. Its full of really unusual places to get married, including windmills, campsites, industrial warehouse spaces and even a Solent fort! So if you are after something that isn’t your run of the mill hotel or manor house then this is the place to go! Plus there are venues from around the country .. from the Cornwall to Scotland so hopefully you will find a venue you like near you.
Here are just a few of my favourite venues on the site …
Cley Windmill is actually a venue I have drawn for a couple who ordered my Perfect Place range of wedding invitations http://knotsandkisses-co-uk.stackstaging.com/beta/product-category/pastels-collection/perfect-place/ so it’s definitely one of my favourites and is absolutely beautiful.
Cornish Tipi Wedding is one of my favourite wedding venues in the South West … if you are looking for a boho woodland wedding then you can’t get more perfect than this!
If you’re after quirky, industrial and botanical in London then The Folly is spot on and has amazing food and lots of options for small and big weddings to boot …
And you can’t really get more different and quirky than a private fort in the Solent! Its much more luxurious than it sounds!
I hope this has given you a few different ideas if you are at the early planning stages for your wedding and looking for a quirky wedding venue … I would definitely advise heading over to Quirky Wedding Venues for lots more options around the country.
I am in love with this venue!
