As most of you know I spent last week on my holidays. Most of it was spent camping about half an hours walk away from the amazing Eden Project in Cornwall .. and we spent a couple of days going round the Eden Project as well as seeing the fabulous Eddie Izzard at a gig there in the evening.
All in all I thought it was an amazing venue for an event and so I looked into whether or not they held weddings there … and what do you know .. they do!
You can get married in any of a number of areas of the site but most excitingly in either of their ‘Biomes’ … so you can guarantee perfect weather but feel like you are getting married outdoors right here in the UK!
I personally would pick the gorgeous Mediterranean Biome, where I had a fabulous Paella lunch, surrounded by beautiful white washed walls, scented herb plants and olive trees, but you can also get married in the rainforest Biome if you would like a more tropical wedding.
You also guarantee you get a ‘Green’ wedding and of course all of your flowers can be done on site by their ‘Flower Fairies’.
The food at the Eden Project is also amazing with a lot of it being grown locally.
