A new look for Knots & Kisses

So today is a very exciting day! A new look for Knots & Kisses is being launched and I’m super excited to share it with you all!

As many of you may have read about on my Instagram feed these are very exciting times at Knots & Kisses. Very soon I’ll be launching my new wedding styling services. You may notice a little ‘styling’ tab has appeared on the website. It’s currently just got a few images to keep you happy but very soon will be full to the brim of lots of gorgeous inspiration from styled shoots and weddings I have been working on over the past few months! Plus information about how you can hire my to create a design, look and style for your very own wedding and how I can be there on the day to pull it all together for you.

In the meantime to coincide with the new direction the business is taking I decided to have a complete overhaul of my branding! I was feeling it was time for a change and as my stationery and styling took on a darker, more colourful and more modern slant the old branding was starting to feel like it really didn’t fit where the company or I was going anymore. So time for a change!

I work on branding and logos for companies myself but I often feel you can be too close to your own brand to see what it really needs to I employed the most marvelous fellow stationer and branding expert Becky Lord to design a new brand for me. We worked very closely to find the right look for Knots & Kisses going forward and so I’m delighted to introduce it to you today!

I absolutely love the combination of dark green, blush and gold – it totally suits what I love at the moment, with my love of dark interiors and just a hint of girly and luxe foil finishes … and I also hand painted a fern for Becky to use in a pattern to go alongside the branding. I love hand painting elements for my couple’s stationery so a hint of that in the brand was just perfect. Plus I’m in love with ferns of any description so it worked perfectly!

You’ll be seeing the new branding across all my social media platforms from now on and hopefully a new look website to coincide with the launch of my styling services very soon!

Burgundy Blush and Gold Wedding Ideas

One of my favourite colour combinations for weddings at the moment, especially for autumn and winter weddings when the light makes it look so much more magical, is “burgundy, blush and gold wedding”. I especially love this when used with my favourite flower of the moment Dahlias! When I find a colour combination I love in invariably create a moodboard for it on my Pinterest account and then I can collate ideas and hopefully use this in the future to inspire a new range of stationery or when I need it if a couple enquire about a bespoke design in this colour combination.

So I thought I’d share with some of my favourite images and ideas that I have found via Pinterest in this colour combination…
